Trường Đại học Hải Phòng có 65 năm xây dựng, phát triển và đã có nhiều đóng góp quan trọng trong việc cung cấp nguồn nhân lực chất lượng cao cho sự phát triển kinh tế - xã hội của thành phố Hải Phòng và đất nước. Tuy nhiên, bên cạnh những thành tựu đã đạt được thì trường đại học này cũng bộc lộ một số hạn chế, yếu kém và đối mặt với nhiều khó khăn, thách thức trong bối cảnh đất nước hội nhập quốc tế sâu rộng và sự cạnh tranh trong phát triển của các cơ sở giáo dục đại học ở Việt Nam. Các yêu cầu về chính sách, pháp luật và thực tiễn hiện nay cho thấy cần phải đổi mới và phát triển Trường Đại học Hải Phòng lên tầm cao mới. Để thực hiện việc đó, Trường cần đặt ra các mục tiêu tổng quát và mục tiêu cụ thể phải đạt được đến năm 2025, năm 2030 và năm 2045. Sau đó, Trường cũng cần phải xác định định đường hướng chiến lược vạch rõ các nhiệm vụ, giải pháp cụ thể nhằm đổi mới và phát triển toàn diện để đạt được các mục tiêu trên. Nhân dịp 65 năm ngày truyền thống của Trường, bài viết này phân tích ngắn gọn nhu cầu phải đổi mới, phát triển Trường và nêu ra các mục tiêu cùng một số định hướng cơ bản cần phải thực hiện để đưa Trường Đại học Hải Phòng phát triển lên tầm cao mới
Hai Phong University has undergone 65 years of construction and development, marking numerous significant contributions to providing highly qualified human resources for the socio-economic development of Hai Phong City and Vietnam. However, besides the achievements, this university also reveals various limitations and weaknesses and faces abundant difficulties and challenges in the context of the country's extensive international integration and competition in the development of universities in Vietnam. Current policies, laws and practical requirements show the need to innovate and improve the ranking of Hai Phong University. To meet the demand, general and specific goals for Haiphong University must be set to achieve correspondingly by 2025, 2030 and 2045. After that, the institution needs determine a strategic direction with specific tasks and solutions to innovate and develop the University in all aspects to achieve the above goals. On the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the University's establishment, this article briefly analyzes the need to innovate and develop the University and outlines the goals and some basic directions that need to be implemented to upgrade Hai Phong University to a new remarkable level.
