Coherence is an important determinant of the text’s quality. In this article, we clarify the
coherence characteristic manifestation in argumentative writing. Through reasoning relation in some
aspects, coherence is a kind of argument. We also discuss the characteristics of argument components
and the polyphonic phenomena in the article.
