Thanh toán điện tử (TTĐT) là phương thức thanh toán được tiến hành ngay trên mạng Internet. Trong nền kinh tế số, nhu cầu về TTĐT càng trở nên cấp thiết hơn bao giờ hết bởi tính tiện lợi của nó khi không cần đến tiền mặt trong giao dịch, cùng các công nghệ an toàn, thuận tiện cho người sử dụng. Hiện nay, với sự phát triển vượt bậc của công nghệ thông tin đã tạo nên một sức ép cạnh tranh gay gắt trên thị trường, làm thay đổi sản phẩm, dịch vụ một cách linh hoạt, hiệu quả. Theo đó, TTĐT vừa là điều kiện, vừa là giải pháp để thúc đẩy kinh tế - xã hội phát triển. Trên cơ sở tìm hiểu về các loại hình TTĐT ở Việt Nam, nghiên cứu điển hình tại Hải Phòng, bài viết cho thấy mức độ quan tâm và sử dụng đối với mỗi loại hình TTĐT đó, qua đó đánh giá và đề xuất ý kiến nhằm thúc đẩy TTĐT ở Việt Nam.
Electronic payment (e-payment) is a payment method made right on the Internet. In the digital economy, the need for e-payment becomes more urgent than ever because of the convenience of not needing cash in transactions, and safe and convenient technologies for users. Currently, with the outstanding development of information technology, it has created fierce competitive pressure in the market, products and services change flexibly and effectively. Accordingly, e-payment is both a condition and a solution to promote socio-economic development. On the basis of learning about types of e-payment in Vietnam, case study in Hai Phong, the article shows the level of interest and use for each type of e-payment, thereby evaluating and propose ideas to promote e-payment in Vietnam.
