Bài báo nghiên cứu tập trung vào thực trạng phát triển du lịch nghỉ dưỡng tại Cát Bà thông qua các phương pháp nghiên cứu thu thập dữ liệu sơ cấp thứ cấp để có thể đưa ra những đánh giá và nhận định đầy đủ về du lịch nghỉ dưỡng tại Cát Bà từ đó xây dựng những giải pháp nhằm góp phần phát triển du lịch nghỉ dưỡng tại Cát Bà đến năm 2025, tầm nhìn đến năm 2030.
