Phát triển kinh tế xanh là xu hướng toàn cầu nhằm phát triển kinh tế bền vững ở các nước trên thế giới, trong đó có Việt Nam. Việt Nam may mắn nằm trong khu vực có nền kinh tế phát triển mạnh mẽ và cùng với các nước láng giềng có nhiều điều kiện xã hội, pháp lý thuận lợi để phát triển nền kinh tế xanh. Tuy nhiên, nền kinh tế Việt Nam vẫn đang được thúc đẩy bởi mô hình tăng trưởng nâu với đặc điểm là phụ thuộc vào sản xuất nguyên liệu thô, tiêu thụ nhiên liệu hóa thạch và tài nguyên thiên nhiên không bền vững, ô nhiễm môi trường ngày càng gia tăng. Bài nghiên cứu này chỉ ra tính tất yếu của kinh tế xanh, xu hướng phát triển bền vững ở Việt Nam, từ đó đề xuất các khuyến nghị, giải pháp nhằm phát triển kinh tế xanh gắn với phát triển bền vững của đất nước một cách toàn diện, vừa đạt mục tiêu tăng trưởng kinh tế, vừa đảm bảo an sinh xã hội, bảo vệ môi trường và hệ sinh thái cho tương lai.
Green economy development is a global trend for sustainable economic development in countries around the world, including Vietnam. Vietnam is fortunate to be located in a region with strong economic development and have many favorable social and legal conditions to develop a green economy like its neighboring countries. However, Vietnam's economy continues to be driven by a brown growth model characterized by dependence on raw material production, unsustainable consumption of fossil fuels and natural resources, and increasing environmental pollution. This research paper points out the inevitability of the green economy, a trend of sustainable development in Viet Nam, thereby proposing recommendations and solutions in order to develop a green economy associated with the sustainable development of the country comprehensively, both achieving economic growth goals and ensuring social security, environmental protection and ecosystems for the future.
